"Ultimate Boot Camp is one of the best things I have ever done! I have re-discovered my love for running and being outdoors – and am up every day before work at 5.30am for a morning jog. Not only am I thrilled with my weight and inch-loss, but I feel motivated to eat healthier and am more focused. I would highly recommend to invest in a week long Ultimate Boot Camp to any busy professional woman.” |

"I am a new person thanks to Ultimate Boot Camp! Not only did I lose 7lbs on the week, but I now enjoy exercise, I never thought I'd hear myself say that! What’s more, I feel re-educated about food – I now understand portion control and how much and what my body really needs to be healthy. My husband, Guy, cannot believe the change – he thinks a different woman returned from UBC and that’s exactly how I feel – energised, motivated and confident again.” |

"I chose Ultimate Boot Camp because my mum had been to another boot camp and found that the ethos of the week was so much toward dropping weight fast, it was unsustainable and unhealthy. I was so impressed with the UBC team’s nurturing approach and the aftercare has been faultless.” |

"On my week at Ultimate Boot Camp I ran, hiked, cycled, often staggered and did more push ups than I’ve ever done in my life. However, it was so much more than that. I’ve learned more about nutrition in one week than from a lifetime of yo-yo dieting. I’ve made some really good friends, who also experienced their own personal journeys. I’ve realised that exercise is something that can fit into my life with ease. But most of all I’ve also realised that I can push myself so much further than I previously thought and become the person I always dreamt of." |

“Ultimate boot camp taught me how I could use nutrition to make sure my body can work to its full potential and I was shocked at the amount of food that I should be healthily functioning on – it was far less than I was regularly eating. The hills that I previously struggled up on my bike have become much easier since the boot camp and I don't even need the energy drinks I used to have to take before my spinning classes!" |

"I achieved so much on my week at Ultimate Boot Camp; both physically and mentally. I learnt that I can push my body so much further and that I can eat carbohydrates! I lost 8.5lbs and 5" off my body in one amazing week and best of all, I now have completely clear skin - i've had psoriasis since the age of 12 - incredible!" |

Well I can honestly say Ultimate Boot Camp was a brilliant new start for me. It was exactly what I need to kick start everything.. I mean it wasn't just a keep fit camp that did a one-off quick fix and forget it week! I mean I didn't like running before and now I have entered for the London Marathon for 2010! I mean talk about two ends of the spectrum! |

"I have just got back from Ultimate Boot Camp and feel absolutely amazing both physically and mentally. The camp has two physical training instructors from the Royal Marines and they really both helped me through this week, always motivating me to keep going and push through my limits. I dropped 5lbs without starving myself, learnt so much about my body and loads of different types of exercise so I don't get bored of it. I also lost 3 inches off my waist, half off my boobs, lower legs, and upper arms and I am so much more toned now. |

"In Jon Stratford, I feel that you have really landed on your feet. Apart from excelling in Physical and Adventure Training he has many other key skills. Your average 'Bootneck' PTI (despite being from the best stock that there is) does not have the same level of people skills and intelligence that Jon possesses and would find it difficult to deliver any of the evolution's in the depth that he does! (Although, obviously being Royal Marine PTI's they would still deliver it to the highest of standards - just that Jon has that little bit extra)." |

"Ultimate Boot Camp training is definitely the most challenging as well as the most enjoyable and fun group workout I have ever participated in. Don't let my use of the word fun fool you though. This isn't your average group exercise class. Its tough, really tough, and individual commitment, energy, and endurance is certainly needed. Jon and Ben however, or should I say Royal Marine Commandos, are very enthusiastic, high energy, and they're excellent at keeping you motivated and they won't ever let you forget why you're there. |

"Going to UBC was one of the best decisions I've made in my life and I had an awesome week. Everything at UBC, from the food through to the instructors was first class and my week at UBC really had a lasting effect on me - I even joined the gym!!. I've been exercising nearly every day, anything from aerobics (so easy now!) to tennis, bike riding, free weights, circuits and running. When things get hard I just remember all that I achieved at my week at UBC and that I CAN do it. To top it all off I bought some new vests from Topshop the other day and had to buy... wait for it... SIZE 10. I couldn't believe it. Thanks guys!" |

"Ultimate Boot Camp is not just a weekend of mud, sweat and tears (although there was quite a lot!), it is a jam-packed, action-filled experience where, after 48hrs, you are best friends with the woman who egged you on and got you to the top of that hill! |

"Just want to say thanks to everyone involved, it was fantastic. And to anyone thinking of going on a bootcamp don't just think about it, do it, with Ultimate Boot Camp. A very professionally organised weekend with friendly staff, that was great fun for everyone involved. And what a fantastic location, and so very fortunate with the weather. I haven't laughed like that in ages, especially with Mrs 'Flip flop' and team 'S*** the bed'! Don't think that I have stopped talking about it since I got back, and looking forward to meeting up with the girls soon. |

"If you're ready to commit to changing your life and beginning your journey to finding the "old" or "new" you, then Ultimate Boot Camp is a must for your diary! I found UBC was a battle of not only my physical, but also my mental muscles. I’ve lost lb’s but gained new friends and a wealth of valuable information. An invigorating experience that’s left me fired up, well informed and ready to kick start a new and sustainable approach to my lifestyle. Now where did I put those hiking boots……..?!" |

"Ultimate Bootcamp was a fantastic experience. It has been two weeks since I have left bootcamp and I can definitely say my life has changed for the better. I am still not drinking tea/coffee/diet coke. I feel much happier and healthy within myself. The Ultimate Bootcamp team were fantastic. Sam was a brillant Camp Manager. Jon the Head PTI was excellent. The most valuable lesson I learnt from Ultimate Bootcamp was that the only person that was stopping me from achieving something was me. I would strongly recommend Ultimate Bootcamp to anyone. It is a worthwhile, experience and it will change your life - ' I promise'. I have lost another four pounds since Bootcamp and to date my weight loss is 11lbs" |

"I decided to spend a week at Ultimate Boot Camp as I was on a break before starting a new job and needed a boost and a real kickstart. I could not have chosen a better way to spend a week. I arrived feeling slightly fatigued and came away motivated, educated and having made firm friends. UBC do an amazing job of keeping you on the move and having fun. The venue, PTI's and camp managers were fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone of any fitness ability as you will be pushed beyond your own limits, not anyone's elses. Thank you UBC!" |

"What a week! From submerging myself in a muddy bog, to breathtaking evening walks as the sun set over the beautiful Devon coastline, Ultimate Boot Camp exhilarated each of my senses in every way possible. As a seasoned exerciser, I was pushed to my absolute limit and more by the fantastic trainers John, Les and Baz (they looked lovely in their tight tops!) yet loved every minute – well almost! Yes, there were hard times and I can’t say getting up at 5.30am each morning was a completely joyous experience, but the smug sense of achievement, combined with utter exhaustion, you feel at the end of the day makes any earlier despair worthwhile. All of the staff, especially Sam were eternally motivating and the food was as tasty as anything you’d get in a great restaurant. I can honestly say I’ve never felt so fit and good about myself than I did the morning I left UBC. It was a truly uplifting experience and I’m desperate to return. " |

"The best thing was not the 6lb weight loss in 5 days, nor the 6½ loss in inches, nor the toned muscles and increased fitness, but the fact that after a week with the UBC Team I found myself walking to work this morning with my head up rather than staring at the pavement. It was worth all the pain, the mud, the 6am runs, the smelly kit, the tortuous circuits, the boxing and the caffeine withdrawal symptoms just for that. Jon and Warren the PTI's, somehow, and I still haven't figured out how they did it, brought out a confidence to push myself harder and higher and further than I ever thought I could. They were so professional and encouraging that when they said I could jump off a waterfall, I truly believed (despite my jelly legs) that I could. And I did!" |

"I was weary about forking out for Ultimate Boot Camp at the start, thinking "everyone knows how to get healthy: Eat less, do more!" It's putting it into practice long term that's the problem. What difference can a week make? It was great to step back and think about myself for a while, and I really recommend the experience to anyone who has the opportunity, as you will definitely leave feeling ten times more positive. Enjoy!" |

Until my arrival in Devon for UBC, I was gloriously, naively unaware of Bootcamps. Pretty much until we all met up at the Station and we started our journey to what was to be home for the next week, where we were exchanging reasons for being there and felt a tad concerned hearing stories of other Bootcamp experiences. I was still really not too sure what to expect as on the whole I don't think I heard a positive recollection of other Bootcamps then or upon reflection at all during the course of the week. In fact only horror stories, so I was somewhat apprehensive to say the least..... |

"I approached the men`s weekend not expecting too much, but was looking to get fit again and have a bit of fun in the process. It ended up being the most mentally and physically exhausting weekend of my life, but at the same time incredibly enjoyable and with a huge sense of self-satisfaction. The team of Jon, Warren and Sam, laid out a fantastic, varied, weekend of intense physical activities and fun, yet challenging experiences. Not knowing what was coming up was slightly frustrating at the time, but only added to the enjoyment, looking back. Jon and Warren`s knowledge of what our bodies are capable of, and their stretching excercises enabled me to wake up for the next morning`s activities feeling reasonably supple, considering I had gone to sleep the night before thinking I would not be able to walk in the morning. The accomodation and food were great and I highly recommend Ultimate boot camp to anyone who wants a sporty, fun and challenging weekend." |

I was apprehensive before I joined Ultimate Boot Camp, unsure of what to expect. The first morning was a shock to the system, but we quickly got into the swing of things. During my time at boot camp, I had my highs and lows but came out the other end smiling! I've learnt so much about healthy eating, and I've rediscovered a love of fitness. I've intergrated what I've learnt into my daily routine, and sice being home, I'm aware of the pounds slowly falling off. I'm now more happier and confident than before I started. I know now that I can achieve whatever I set my mind too, and I woud highly recommend UBC to everyone. The Staff are highly experienced, and are brilliant motivators, they take the time to listen, explain and keep you going. The food was wonderful and I've come away with so many recipes. Overall, it was fantastic and I would do it all over again! |

"My experience of Ultimate Bootcamp in October this year was amazing. I had decided to do this to celebrate turning 40 in August and thought it'd be a nice challenge, something to take me out my comfort zone and test my resilliance. I was hoping to learn something new about myself by experiencing something different................. My God did it tick all those boxes!!!!!! Losing a few pounds and toning up was an added bonus! The team were fantastic, John and Andy putting us through our paces, daily, hourly, every single second actually! And Becky meeting our every other need! Great food, Excellent advice and support. I had the added benefit of sharing this experience with my sister Sharon, we were able to use the life coach session which we both benefited from greatly. This was such a lifestyle changing experience, which i learned so much from. I would love to do it again. I'm using my resistance bands regularly :)" |

"What on Earth do you want to do that for!" was pretty much everyone's response to the news I had booked for UBC " I want to be fit" was my response.....vague to say the least, woolly round the edges and a not by any stretch of the imagination a well formed argument, but it just felt like something I needed to do. Instinct is as valid as logic so I am told. Just for once I trusted mine. I'm glad I countered my usual self that wants to over think, over analyse and weigh up the pro's and con's. What I gained at UBC was not what I expected, Yes the experience left me fitter and stronger physically but it gave me something far more valuable. It gave me a sense of self that I hadn't realised was missing until I found it. Would I do it again? Are you mad! Am i glad I did it? I wouldn't have missed it for the world. |

| If you hesitate “STOP HESITATING AND APPLY” that is all I have to say. My experience at Ultimate Boot Camp was simply fantastic! The camp is really well organised, the food nutritionally controlled is excellent, accommodation lovely and the training perfect. Our PTIs Jon and Andy are not only fabulous trainers but also fantastic human beings, Becky the nutritionist is a wonderful and cheerful person who advised us very well on how and what to eat hassle free and Mandy last but not least our cook is a star. I had heard pretty bad comments about boot camps, I had great doubts about the concept of the boot camp before joining and enquired many different websites before choosing, I picked ultimate boot camp thinking it was the closest to what I was looking for and I was right. I was unsure about joining for many different reasons: a) I am not a group person always train on my own, am quite shy and being confronted with 14 women and having to train with them was not my cup of tea. I was simply scared. b) I did not know what to expect of the fitness level of the group and was looking for something challenging c) My diet was pretty appalling and I did not really want anyone to tell me what to eat and when d) ? Well forget about all that! The group was really nice, we all pushed ourselves and always with a smile, we all supported and motivated each other. Our fitness level was assessed individually at the beginning of the week and Jon and Andy challenged and pushed us all accordingly. I have learnt an awful lot about my way of training and my nutrition and this week has given me strength and motivation to achieve my goals. The camp was a real eye opener on many grounds, a very interesting “inner self observation” exercise. Not one day looks like another the variety of activities makes the training rich, fun and the challenge constant. It is fantastic to discover how much you can do with functional training, which you could even do at home, in your garden or at the nearest park! It is a fabulous experience that I do recommend to anyone no matter what one is looking for. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will do it again in the near future. I am THANKFUL to Jon, Andy and Becky to have put me back on the right track to achieve my personal goals and given me back the energy I needed to do so. Great team!! And congratulation to Sam to have set it in such a good way! A very enriching experience! |

| In preparation for my wedding day, I had been following a healthy eating regime and although I had managed to lose a stone in weight I was struggling to get beyond that and was starting to lack focus and motivation for those extra few pounds! With the wedding only a matter of weeks away, I was hoping that by going to UBC it would give me that last push before the wedding and get me motivated to become more active and exercise so I could tone up a bit. I don't really know what I expected my boot camp experience to be like but it turned out to be one of the most challenging, exhausting, funny and rewarding experiences I have ever had! Prior to going to UBC I was doing little to no exercise, so I had huge concerns over how I would cope with a weekend full of exercise. On meeting all the other UBC attendees initially, my concerns grew even more as they talked about how many times a week they exercise! However, the way each UBC activity is set up, it caters for all levels of fitness allowing everyone to push themselves to their own personal maximum. Don't get me wrong, it will be the most physically and mentally challenging thing you ever do! The variety of activities we did was fantastic, from rounders to abseiling to circuits on the beach to coastal walks. Sometimes you actually forgot you were exercising as you were having so much fun and it was only after you would think.....actually I have just spent the last hour running around after a ball! At the end of my UBC experience I had lost 2.5lbs...which isn't bad for a weekend's work! I think the two main things boot camp taught me were: 1. In order to commit to a regular exercise routine you have to do exercise that you enjoy, otherwise you just won't do it! 2. You can push yourself much harder physically that you think possible and it is not necessarily due to fitness level but is down to mental state of mind Since UBC, I have signed up to a couple of aerobics classes each week as I realised I just don't like going to the gym and prefer to be in a class with an instructor and music! I would highly recommend UBC to any other pre-wedding brides out there as it will certainly whip you into shape. My only advice would be, don't go too near the wedding date as you may need time for any bruises to disappear!! |

| I chose UBC because I wasn’t just interested in dropping a dress size, I wanted the whole package, I wanted to come away with something to live up to. I wanted long-term change and re-education. Personally my first achievement was walking into the pub on my own to sign in. I looked around and couldn’t see anyone that I thought would be coming, then I turned and met the man-mountain that is Jon, he signed me in and that’s the when the panic set in, what had I let myself in for - its okay I kept saying, I have my car, I can get in it and drive away at anytime. I would never have believed that just a week later, I would be crying as I tore myself away from my new friends and saying goodbye to a great team. So we arrived at our “home” for the week and what a fantastic farm it was, the rooms were beautiful, the scenery fantastic - this all felt too good to be hard work. The Marine PTI’s that we had, Jon and Andy were superb. They have a really tough job because the groups are all different levels of fitness and different personalities and they have to make sure that everyone gets results regardless of how fast, how strong, or how clever they are. They were amazing at keeping our attention at all times. It doesn’t take too many extra press ups to work out that it is just easier to be punctual. They were real people too and were really good at listening. It wasn’t all about shouting instructions at you! If you are even thinking of doing a boot camp then UBC is the one to choose. There will be tears I am sure, but the smiles and laughter and achievements will all make it so worthwhile, I think I will apply to be a UBC Ambassador, I just want to tell everyone to go and see what they are really capable of, it doesn’t matter how fit you are, it will have such a positive effect on you I promise you. I have booked up for a top-up UBC next year already. I tell you it just changes the person within you. I just realised that life is so short and being fit has just got to be such a plus as you get older, I don’t want to be fat and unhappy for the rest of my life and UBC has empowered me to do something about that. For the record, I never ever wanted to get in my car and drive away….not even when it was time to leave. Thanks UBC you have changed my life. |

"My experience at Ultimate Bootcamp was fantastic because it literally was a 'BOOT' up my proverbial .......!!!!! As the week progresses you grow in confidence, not only by conquering your own individual fears but also by watching your fellow recruits surpass their own expectations. It is an extremely humbling and uplifting moment, when one of your group pushes themselves to the limit and accomplishes something they had previously deemed near impossible. This is all brought about by a team of skilled individuals who truly believe in what they are doing. Their dedication and commitment is clearly evident and is presented on a daily basis. Their passion is infectious and if on occasion you falter, you are gently urged forwards once again. It was an incredibly unique experience and one that has altered my mind set opening up a whole spectrum of oppourtunities. Sam, the creator of UBC had a vision and with the help of her team has made it a reality. Thank you UBC, I also had a vision and because of you, I can make it a reality too!!!" |

It's true what they say 'nothing worth having ever came easy' UBC was not the easiest thing I have ever done but it was a ridiculous amount of fun and the results are sure worth having. I know a lot of people reading this must be very nervous about the prospect of boot camp, I know I was! Throughout the entire drive to Devon my head was filled with thoughts like 'what am I doing?, Can I really do this?' I'm pleased to say since leaving UBC I'm pretty sure there's nothing I can't do! I'd also like to reassure anyone who thinks they are too unfit to go to boot camp, when I attended there was a whole range of different people from different backgrounds and the sizes ranged from a size 8 to a size 20, unfortunately after an injury that gave me 3 years of excuses as to why I couldn't go to the gym or why I couldn't go out for that run and most importantly why I had to have that extra bar of chocolate I was the size 20! I have to say I was pretty ashamed of myself, but my size didn't seem to bother the UBC team I'd never had so much support and encourgement to achieve my goals and achieve I did, after a week of delicous healthy meals and hard but fun and varied exercise i lost 11lbs and 19.5 inches from my body. I don't mean to brag but how AMAZING is that?? I also have to mention the fantastic education we recieved at UBC in health, fitness & nutrition, it's amazing how much knowledge they give you in one week and how much of it actually sinks in! I've taken up a few extra hobbies and love creating healthy 'masterpieces' in the kitchen most of which the recipes are from the members area. Thanks to the ongoing support from the UBC team I have managed to lose another 6lbs in the 2 weeks post boot camp and an extra 1.5 inches from my waist alone (thats 9 inches from my waist alone sorry to go on about it but I'm just so thrilled) I'm definitely out of my size 20 and back into those clothes that I bagged up and put in the loft for when I could fit back into them (thinking I never actually would, come on you know you've done it too). I just have to say a huge thank you to UBC you've been amazing and if any of you are making a new years resolution don't make it to get fit make it to go to UBC and the rest will just come naturally!

If I said I was nervous before my first boot camp in October, I think I was even more so for my second. I was worried that I might know too much and might not find any of it exciting or valuable - but I was to be proven so wrong.
I have just completed my second camp in March, it felt like going “home” to meet up with the familiar faces of the UBC team.
I didn’t think that a weekend was going to match up to a full week, but boy I worked hard, only losing slightly less inches and lbs than I did for my week!! So you can do it. It was just as full on, just as infuriating that you are told nothing so you cannot form any pre-conceived ideas - fantastic!
If I could help anyone who is thinking of returning in any way at all, I would just say…a weekend is just NOT long enough…{I know Lynette would kill me for saying that!} Go for a week!
If you are thinking of UBC and are worried that you are not fit enough or too fit or whatever - stop there and click on the “book it” button because, believe me it doesn’t matter what level you are at. It doesn’t matter if you are an “Iron-man champion” or if you can’t run up a flight of stairs without gasping for breath. UBC will look after you, you will have your fitness assessed on the first day and they will pitch your time with them accordingly, it doesn’t matter if you are not as good as anyone else in the group - trust me, I have come last more times that I care to remember - its about you, its about what you can achieve and that’s all that matters. You will be surrounded by a caring team to whom you can talk about health, nutrition, fitness, anything, there is always a friendly ear to run to.
I have to say my two experiences have been totally different, it is so interesting being part of different dynamics in a group of women - which, lets be honest girls could be a recipe for disaster if it were in any other part of our lives, but there is something special about being in a group where we are all in it for ourselves but still always keeping an eye over a shoulder in case one of us should need a hand, or a shoulder to cry on. Being at UBC makes you feel like you belong somewhere, and as a very busy woman who runs her own business and meets people day in and day out, and does fitness classes everyday - I realise that we miss so much just going about our daily lives and lets be honest, time is the most precious gift of all, so to be a part of something - and it doesn’t just end when you come home, it is really special.
I have been offered places on other boot camps and do you know what, I am just not interested, I know they will not measure up to UBC.
If you are still left wondering - on our trip back to the camp after our last mornings training I cried my eyes out, I did not want to leave, and if you still need any further reassurances…….. I am planning my third camp now….
Thank you Ultimate Boot Camp
